A timer on the Automatic Plant Watering System can be programmed to adjust the amount of water and frequency of watering, anywhere from 5 times a day to once a week. This automatic container watering system also has an LCD display that shows your settings, with visual and audible alerts when battery or water is low. The Automatic Plant Watering System requires 4 AA batteries, (not included). NOTE: Although a pop-open bucket is included with this plant watering system, we recommend you use your own bucket or large container instead. Customer feedback has alerted us to the fact that the included bucket tends to collapse under the weight of the watering unit.
